Save the date and join us for Cabane à sucre on March 14!

Edmonton Catholic Schools is hosting a French Immersion Cabane à sucre on March 14, 2026, which is an annual French-Canadian tradition.

Families will be able to select a variety of fun French activities that include:

• Performances by school choirs
• Escape games and board games
• Robotics and library services
• Sports and dance
• Interactive kiosks
• Sleigh rides
• Maple sugar on a stick
• And so much more!

New this year!

Radio Cité, a French radio station, will be on site to interview students and parents about the day. Questions will be provided beforehand. Please indicate your interest in participating when you register in PowerSchool. 

Event and Registration Details

Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026
Time: 1:00 – 3:30 PM 
Location: École J.H. Picard (7055 99 St. NW, Edmonton)
Cost: $10 per family, payable through the “school fees” link located in PowerSchool. Your payment in PowerSchool is considered your registration for the event. The week before the event, you will receive a ticket and schedule for the day's activities.

Registration closes on Tuesday, March 10.

Parking Information
Parking is available on the street, in the school parking lot, and at École Joseph-Moreau (9735 75 Ave. NW, Edmonton).
